Truth: After everything I've been through the past few years, I am terrified of being vulnerable and allowing anyone (even a chance) to break my heart.
With that being said... I am REALLY trying hard to overcome this. Recently, someone has come back into my life, and I honestly couldn't be happier about it. I've found myself smiling and laughing A LOT lately. To me, that's a pretty big deal. I'm even smiling and giddy just thinking about the whole thing.
But with all of that comes this overwhelming FEAR. I'm afraid to feel anything, or take the plunge because I don't want to end up hurt. I constantly find myself pushing away or putting up walls when I feel scared.
Which leads me to this quote I read today.

This kind of reminds me of the girl from She's Just Not That Into you when she tells the man she later ends up with, 'I know I'm alot closer to finding love than you'. You do have to be open to it, to find it.
